Living 03:22
Pack the car, where out of here at dawn, Going where, the sun goes down on. The horizon, flat as we look upon, For the next few weeks, there isn’t much going on. We both seem, to go and depend upon, The time we spend, when we’re off and gone. So slowly, we make our way toward the sun, This now seems, our last chance to be young. When you’re guided, the stars help us run Faster, than we’ve ever gone No turning back, our time has begun This is how living should be done. Hope we never wake up if it’s a dream, Worth it, for that escape from reality. Because there are times, you end up so astray, You never ever dare dream of the day, that you’re.. Guided, the stars help us run Faster, than we’ve ever gone No turning back, our time has begun This is how, living should be done. I tell you, I’m not afraid, To leave this behind and start again. Under the stars, we decide to lay, Freeze us in time so that we can stay.. Guided, the stars help us run, Faster, than we’ve ever gone. No turning back, our time has begun, This is how, living should be done.

So you say that you’re leaving, Got a job over the other side of town, you’re gone. I guess I’ll just wait around, For you right here, by the phone, Right at home. House feels empty without you here, Nights are nothing when you’re spending them all alone. Well, I’m still waiting around, For you right here, by the phone.. Right at home. Days and weeks, without you, feel like years, Just to hear your voice, would be music to my ears. I’d do just about anything, for you my dear. I’ll stay right here, by the phone, Right at home. Got a dog she keeps me company, Named her coco, so I bought her a ball and bone. I guess we’ll just wait right here, For you my dear, by the phone, Right at home. Taught how to fetch a cold beer, Even carved a picture of you, out of stone. All this time just waiting around, For you my dear, by the phone Right at home. Days and weeks without you, feel like years, Just to hear your voice, would be music to my ears. I’d do just about anything, for you my dear. I’ll stay right here, by the phone, Right at home. Days and weeks without you, feel like years, Just to hear your voice, would be music to my ears. I’d do just about anything, for you my dear. I’ll stay right here, by the phone, Right at home. I’ll stay right here, where we belong, Right at home

Blame Game 03:24
It always seems as though it’s someone else’s fault. Feels as though everyone’s rubbing salt into the, Gaping wounds and the eyes of your life, darlin’ The way it rolls is not yours to decide So when you say, you are not to blame, So blinded, you decide to smear their name. Because, it’s much easier to say you’re not the issue, It’s with them, they don’t like your artwork no more. You’re playing the blame game Where you’re the only one who’s sane It’s just the blame game Feel it running through your veins Your bread and milk, is in the mail, Feel as though you’re about to set sail. Without warning, you’re cut down in your prime, darlin’ Not to worry, you still hold your head high It’s not your fault, covered neck to toe Express yourself, you feel the need to show All you need is one chance and you’ll be dancing darlin’ Dancing late until the morning sun shows You’re playing the blame game Where you’re the only one who’s sane It’s just the blame game Feel it running through your veins All talk, no heart, No action, life’s falling apart. But still, you persist with this game, Where it’s everyone’s fault that you’re sitting there in pain. You’re playing the blame game Where you’re the only one who’s sane It’s just the blame game Feel it running through your veins

Heard the story, of Jack the dancer? He was a wicked man, who held no remorse. They’d try to slow him down, but he was too fast, Jack was an unruly force. Jack would dance, dance around us all, Choosing the ones, he thought may fall. No power known to man was enough, To save you from jacks call. Who gave, who gave jack the key? The key to the door, to humanity. To choose the ones, the ones that may fall, So Jack can keep dancing around us all. Phone rings, but you leave it be, Who’s ringing, you’d rather not see. Pull the plug so the dial tone’s no more, So Jack comes dancing at your door. You go to run, find a place to hide, Breathing heavily, you hope he doesn’t find you. He hears your breath, he wants you to see, How good Jacks dancing can be. Who gave, who gave jack the key? The key to the door, to humanity. To choose the ones, the ones that may fall, So Jack can keep dancing around us all. The ones that fought, some of them lost. The ones that won, still come at a cost. If he let you go, be grateful that you won, Because Jack must have chosen the wrong ones. Who gave, who gave jack the key? The key to the door, to humanity. To choose the ones, the ones that may fall, So Jack can keep dancing around us all. Who gave, who gave jack the key? The key to our hearts, to change who we will be. To change in our minds, as we try to stand tall, So jack can keep dancing around us all.. So fucking Jack can keep dancing around us all. So fucking Jack can keep dancing around us all.

There seems to be, a set, of rules we shouldn’t forget. Because time is not on our side. For those, who don’t follow the steps from those who know, You’ll be sorry when it’s too late to show So have a baby, you don’t know love until you’ve made it, Try again so you can taste it, it tastes like love now don’t it? You can now get a loan and, build your house and own it, Plant a garden and show it, to the people that have blown it, If only they had known it. You’re now old, you’re grey, sitting outside on a summer’s day, When you realise you’re just another number. All those houses, all those cars, you bought everything except the stars, But the world has gone unseen by you. Had a baby, you don’t know love until you’ve made it, Try again so you can taste it, it tastes like love now don’t it? You can now get a loan and, build your house and own it, Plant a garden and show it, to the people that have blown it, If only they had known it. Those houses and those cars, you bought everything except the stars, But the world has gone unseen by you Had a baby, you don’t know love until you’ve made it, Try again so you can taste it, it tastes like love now don’t it? You can now get a loan and, build your house and own it, Plant a garden and show it, to the people that have blown it, If only they had known it. To Follow the Steps of life.

So many thoughts, none of them clear Mind is a mess right now, Blurry with fear Memories fading, Feeling is numb Pain would be satisfying, just to feel something now Just to make me feel. Like I’m actually alive Where do I rediscover, the real me that’s inside Please let me live Please let me feel again So I can go live like all my friends Let me see a way A way to not wish for the end. So I can go live like all my friends In the end, it’s probably up to me To pick myself up and stop feeling so sorry (for myself) It sounds so easy, but there’s always something in the way It’d be nice to hear someone tell me it’ll all be ok Just to make me feel. Like I’m actually alive Wish I had someone, to hold me tonight Please let me live Please let me feel again So I can go live like all my friends Let me see a way A way to not wish for the end. So I can go live like all my friends Please let me live Please let me feel again So I can go live like all my friends Let me see a way A way to not wish for the end. So I can go live like all my friends

Hindsight 03:42
Told myself Id learn to fly, Took a leap, I don’t know why. I wish I had have had some wings, Hindsight is such a beautiful thing. Told myself Id learn to live, Took a chance, what more could I give? Was it living, I wasn’t sure. In hindsight I could have given a little more. Told myself, Id learn to love, Loved you more than the heavens above. Now we lie here, staring at the moon, In hindsight I should have told you more soon. Told myself, not to lie, One more lie, I’d rather die. I lied to you and I paid the price, In hindsight it doesn’t pay to lie. If we know, when the time is right. Why we holding back tonight? We both knew, the love we would bring, I guess hindsight is such a beautiful thing. Told you that I loved you so, Even when I didn’t really know. Grew apart, I didn’t know how to save, In hindsight more love I could have gave. Stormed out the door, like a bull to red. As I decide, to ignore you instead.. I let you go, I couldn’t be more wrong, In hindsight it’s why I made this song. Told myself Id find you one day, Searching everywhere, hide and seek we will play. I count to 10 and then I come to find, In hindsight I guess I was a little blind.. mmm. If we know, when the time is right. Why we holding back tonight? We both knew, the love we would bring, I guess hindsight is such a beautiful thing.

Lessons learnt, learnt the hard way. Wouldn’t have been so hard, if you listened in the first place. Broken arms, broken nose. Put them down as lessons, as you continue to grow. Dark alley ways, no danger at all, Walking the tightrope, just waiting to fall. Even though you know. Your mama always told you, There’s always someone worse off. Your mama always told you Just cause you care, doesn’t make you soft. Sitting in the long grass, on a hot summers day Hide and seek, one of the games we’d play Waiting to be found, but getting sick and tired of waiting While she’s home scared, home scared her child is fading away Dark alley ways, no danger at all, Walking the tightrope, just waiting to fall. Even though I know. Mama always told me, there’s always someone worse off. Mama always told me, just cause you care it doesn’t make you soft. My mama always told me One half does what the other half is told Mama always told me, If you never grow up, then you never grow old. Freeze right there, you ain’t going anywhere Pretty sure your father told you, go to your room, stay there. You don’t care, no you don’t care Even though you’re scared, you don’t care Dark alley ways, no danger at all, Walking the tightrope, just waiting to fall. Even though you know. Mama always told me, there’s always someone worse off. Mama always told me, just cause you care it doesn’t make you soft. My mama always told me One half does what the other half is told Mama always told me, If you never grow up, then you never grow old.

Hold on 03:47
Hold up, just hold up, You saying that you only live once? Hold up, just hold up, You saying that you gotta live it fast? Time’s up? It’s not up. You’ve just lost your way. It’s too late? It’s not too late. To turn and face the other way. So hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. Hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. So hold on for me. So you say you are going to change your ways, Find what you lost and make a change. No turning back and wasting your days. Seeing what others see in you, Life is about trying to see it through, Living until you’re old is not a bad thing to do. Watching your children grow to be, People that you are proud to see, People like you were going to be. Don’t make excuses that you, Won’t be the same as you use to, There’s always a way we are all here for you. Hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. Hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. So hold on for me. So you say you are going to change your ways, Find what you lost and make a change. No turning back and wasting your days. So hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. Hold on, for me, Coz I will be waiting here. So hold on for me. Hold on you’ll see I’ll be waiting here.

Is it true what they say? With all your little games, You’ll make me want to run away, just another game you’ll play. I understand your pain, I know everyone makes mistakes, I’ll do whatever it shall take, now. I’ll do whatever it shall take. Here comes the cold shoulder, So I make sure I told her, “You’ll pay for this when you’re older”, She says “she doesn’t care”. You seem to have disappeared, Your voice I no longer hear. I know I have got nothing to fear, I’ll be waiting right here. I feel you’re still around, Though I still haven’t found. How to stop the constant sound, Of your echo in my brain. Here comes the cold shoulder, So I make sure I told her, “You’ll pay for this when you’re older”, But she says “she doesn’t care”. Now as the days pass by, I still question myself why? Why I didn’t ask questions, That could have changed it all. Here comes the cold shoulder So I make sure I told her “You’ll pay for this when you’re older” She says “she doesn’t care”. She’s starting to feel a little colder, She felt as if I sold her out. I didn’t mean to throw her out, And I know that she still cared.

Always searching for your soul. So you can regain some control. Don’t think you will find it on your phone, go find it on your own. Your grasp on life is fading, Always seem to be day dreaming. Wondering why you're fighting all alone, go find it on your own. Wasting your days sleeping, don’t seem to be keeping. Your promises you gave seem to be blown, go find it on your own. Freeing time when needed, Feeling like you've cheated. Aren’t you supposed to be full grown? Go find it on your own. Eyes open wide, but they don’t see in real life. Your own dream time, won’t you come back inside? Searching your soul, you think that someone else stole. With luck I think you'll find, yourself, soul searcher. Seemed to have looked everywhere. Name it and you've looked there. Still no sign of it coming home, go find it on your own. Won’t find at the bottom of your drink. You still finish it because you think. It makes you feel less alone, go find it on your own. Eyes open wide, but they don’t see in real life. Your own dream time, won’t you come back inside? Searching your soul, you think that someone else stole. With luck I think you'll find, yourself, soul searcher Wake up and realise. You aint looking with the same eyes. You realise you had it all along. You found it on your own.
